She has her head under the carpet, without any consequence but with experience

It is the gaps that interests me, the film is looping caught in the same act. The camera trigger symbolizes the moment by materializing the decision; to decide, release and create an image. In one of my series I have compared the cable release, the trigger with having a choice, with making a decision in life, in our everyday life. These decisions are not without consequence, neither for ourself nor our surroundings. With video and staged photography, I build abstract narratives reflecting my thoughts on many levels about being and fellowship.
I work with two different but parallel practices, one introvert and one extrovert. The introvert part is my own exhibition work, the extrovert is my work with self-organized curation and event projects. The first addresses topics like the individual, choices and the fellowship. The other practices it through working actively with fellowship, individuality, and action as foundation in self-organized exhibition-projects. I have had two non-profit exhibition-spaces in Copenhagen and in 2009 and 2010 I was the curator for Alt_Cph an alternative and nonprofit art fair in Copenhagen.
